Nissan Small Crossover Concept
First rendering of the Nissan concept for NAIAS
Nissan have released the first image of their 'Small Crossover Concept'. It will debut at the North American International Auto Show in January 2004.
The vehicle is designed for 'a life in transition' and features a modular six-passenger interior, flexible information technology systems and a' unique roof treatment' to reflect drivers' desire for both functionality and personality. Not much else has been divulged about the vehicle which seems to further explore the concept of flexibility as a response to modern lifestyle trends.
The illustration here has been constructed in a canson-paper style and appears to be rendered using a combination of marker and Photoshop treatments. At first glance, the vehicle appears to ride high, with a heavily raked windscreen and a bold statement made by the rear window and light surround. More details will inevitably be released closer to the show, when the exact nature of the car will become clear.
